16 THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND BEFORE ENTERING 2016


Well, well, another year has gone by! 2015 has sure been a crazy bumpy ride for me and I assume for you too. We've had our ups and downs and finally made it to 2016. So, here's a list of 16 things I have written down for you and me to keep in mind before we enter in to the NEW YEAR!

1. SET GOALS
Books to read, Movies to watch, To-Do list for the day, Places to visit, Weight to lose, or may be your personal achievement goals for the entire year. It can be anything!

2. STICK TO YOUR GOALS
Setting a goal is easy but sticking to it errrr... I know "Life Is Busy" but why not make it interesting? All you need to do is find a  Goal List on the internet and take a print out. Then simply pen down your goals and stick it on the wall visible to you every morning so it reminds you everyday of what has to be done!

3. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF - You are more capable of what you think you are and what you can be. If you don't believe in yourself, who will?

4. THE PAST IS IN THE PAST
"I can't go back to yesterday because I was a different person then" - Alice, Alice in wonderland.
The present is in your hand and so is the future. You never run out of chances to improve yourself until you really do so just turn away from the past and slam that door real hard! *BOOM*

5. NEVER FEAR CHANGE - EMBRACE IT!
Change is inevitable. Change is good. Change is the law of life.

6. STOP CHANTING YOLO - Because you don't only live once but you live EVERYDAY!

7. COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS
You are blessed. More than you know! Maintain a mini diary and pen down 3 things that make you happy and also figure out 1 blessing, everyday. At the end of the year you will be left with 1,095 happy things and 365 blessings! That's pretty awesome, don't you agree?

8. PRAY For your family. For your enemies. For the ones in need. For the World. For yourself.

9. "HAVE COURAGE, BE KIND"
These were the lines said by Ella's mother to Ella in the movie Cinderella. To be honest, it ain't easy to have courage and be kind at the same time but we can always TRY.

10. TRAVEL - Experience new places, new people, new culture, new lifestyle!

11. THE ANSWER IS CHOCOLATE "WATER"
I know it's hard but trust me on this. Stressed? Drink Water. Headache? Drink Water. Feeling Weak? Drink Water. Exhausted? Drink Water. Vodka? Add Water! :) Don't underestimate the power of water! You know it can do wonders.

12. SPEND TIME ALONE ONCE IN A WHILE
Why? To figure out yourself. To reflect. To know who you are. To find peace within yourself. To divert your mind from all the huss & fuss around you. And no, you don't become a loner if you do such a thing. In fact, spending time alone is considered healthy!

13. USE THE THREE GOLDEN WORDS OFTEN - 'PLEASE' 'SORRY' 'THANK-YOU'

14. SHAKE IT OFF!!!!!!!!!!
Let them say. Let them think. Let them hear.
But you my dear friend, never give anyone the power to bring you down. Just shake it off like Tay-Tay!

15. GOD HAS A PLAN and all he needs you to do is Trust in him!

16. PAT YOUR BACK - Well, after all that you've been through, you still made it to another year! Hurraaayyy!
